Block Bust

Block Bust is a brick breaker built out of jelly. You slide a paddle along the bottom and keep a ball in play while it chews through rows of coloured blocks above. Where the ball strikes the paddle decides where it goes next, so aiming is a matter of catching it on the left or right edge rather than just getting under it. Blocks in the upper rows are worth more, cracked ones take two hits, and clearing a whole board earns a bonus and starts a faster one with an extra row and a slightly narrower paddle.
